Workshop on “Soldiers - Recruitment, training, combat exposure, deployments and returning to civilian life"
Description
The workshop will be held on Tuesday 16 May 2023, at VIVE in Copenhagen.
The workshop will present papers related to soldiers’ motivations for serving, recruitment systems, retention in the military, soldier and squad performance while deployed, consequences of deployments, and socioeconomic and health outcomes for soldiers and their families.
Keynote speaker: Erdal Tekin, School of Public Affairs, American University.
Participants must register for participation. There is no registration fee. Deadline for registration: 16th April 2023
